Established in 1979 in Melbourne, Copperart as it was originally known, opened its first store and soon grew into a National chain of over 140 retail outlets selling a unique range of mostly copper and brass products. Through its heavy use of
television advertising, Copperart fast became a household name.
By the year 2000 the product range in the Copperart stores had changed
dramatically and bore little resemblance to original concept and the once famous
copper and brass had virtually disappeared. In its place was an exciting new
range of contemporary, everyday, household items that made up an inventory of
everything from cookware to manchester, outdoor leisure and fitness products,
as well as toys, electrical, furniture and much more.
The time had come to make a change to a new name, one that would more
accurately reflect the company’s current day product range and so Homeart
was born! Soon after a systematic National rollout of the new brand name was
undertaken during the latter part of 2001.
Today Homeart is one of Australia’s largest specialty retailers. Shopping centre
surveys have identified Homeart as the Number One requested specialty retailer
in the areas in which we operate. Homeart has become a favorite destination
when shopping for Homeware and Giftware products. Homeart customers seek
value, service, and convenience. Homeart’s commitment to their customers
means an ongoing effort is made to source products from around the world,
with a strong emphasis on quality and great value for money. |
